Tuesday Tips: Fight that itchy weave

All my weave wearing people have probably been there, that irritating weave that won't stop itching. My most recent install was this way and I have the super tight cornrows and a scalp that probably wasn't squeaky clean to blame. I did some research and here are some solutions to stop you from patting that weave.
TyTy looks like she's about to dig in!
Washing your hair
Mix 1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar with  3/4 cup of distilled (filtered) water (regular tap water will work too). To make ACV smell less strong, add a few drops of Lavender oil.  Do this about once a week.

Hair oil
Make a mix of peppermint, tea tree oil and glycerin in a spray bottle or applicator bottle. You could also apply with a Q-tip.

Alternatively, dilute witch hazel and water. You could also add a little jasmine essential oil for the smell. Store in the fridge for some cool relief when you apply on your head.
Finally, another option is to mix tea tree and peppermint oil with a few drops of rosemary oil.

If there's nothing else you got from this article, to fight that itchy weave get some tea tree oil, peppermint oil and apple cider vinegar. I'm talking about some real essential oils here not the diluted oils you can get anywhere.
