Welcome to episode 5!!

The photoshoot continues and it's time to use sheep and a donkey as props, and Taec is not too comfy with the idea lol. GuiGui naturally starts playing with the animals.




Then they switched to an indoor location.

Using the piano as a prop, the photographer asked Taec to sing and play the piano. His piano playing skills were decent, but he can't sing lol



Taec's friends show up: 2AM's Seulong Im, ZE:A's KwangHee and MBLAQ's G.O. GuiGui only recognized Kwanghee cos of his stint on We Got Married with Sunhwa. He's so hilarious!

They go inside to eat and she asks his friends to spill the juice on Taecyeon, such as if he's dating anyone else, how many girls he's kissed, his first kiss,

They start things off by commenting on Honngi's new hair. Btw, check out those nail! He's releasing a book on nail art, btw.

The first pic was so awkward cos they (especially Mina) struggled to make eye contact.

For the second pic, it was so cute when the photographer tried to explain the concept to them and Mina didn't exactly understand and asked "is this Korean culture?" and Honggi replied, "no, it's the photographer's idea" LOL






During a break from their photoshoot, Mina did the cutest thing ever! She played FT Island's song "Severely" on the piano.

Thoughts:
"Show me your friends and I'll show you who you are" or whatever that saying is, came to mind as I watched Taecyeon interact with his friends. He's really easy going and likes to joke around, so it wasn't surprising that he would be friends with Kwanghee lol. Kwanghee is so crayyyy, I love him!

The two couples were quite hilarious during the photoshoot. Honggi and Mina were so adorable and awkward at first, but got more comfortable. Those 2 do the cutest things too *sigh* They are quite genuine in their interaction with each other and although they don't get as much airtime as GuiTaec, they're proving to be just as interesting.

Today's mission is the wedding photoshoot. After discussing the concept of the shoot, it's time to look at dresses
While he waits for GuiGui to try on the second dress, he calls some of his friends including Kwang Hee Hwang and 2AM'S Jinwoon who tells him to look very impressed when GuiGui comes out in the second dress. Taec proceeds to overeact by abruptly getting up, clapping and smiling broadly. But they decide to go with Dress 3.


Taec tried on 2 suits but went with the 'penguin suit'


Meanwhile Honggi and Mina are making dinner out of a lobster that's still moving. Mina brought some Japanese apricot pickle for them to eat as well, which Honggi is unimpressed by because it made him puke when he tried it in Japan. He also made a tuna stew for the first time in 6 years.

Then they try to open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew

Thoughts
The wedding photoshoot was definitely my highlight of this episode. Also, it's interesting watching Honggi and Mina's relationship develop. At the end Honggi said that he's trying to mold himself into Mina's ideal boyfriend so he's getting rid of himself a little to make their relationship work and make her happy. That's quite problematic, but let's see how this goes. 

The episode started with Honggi sharing his "love manual" with Mina:
-Please love me more than I love you
-I welcome initiating skin-to-skin contact. Please do it withput hesitation
-The skull is my favorite character. Should we wear couple skull necklaces?
-I am more hairy than you think. Don't be surprised when you see my hairy body.

Mina's Manual:
-I like men with no beard. Please shave your face before meeting me.
-Please lead me by initiating skinship
-Mina loves being patted on her head
-I love something plain. No bling bling
-Read one book every week

After their "argument", GuiGui gave in and decided she's okay with Taec not joining her for breakfast. Taec then unpacked his suitcase which included couple lunchboxes, and his robots which he pieces together in his free time. Of course, GuiGui broke it but Taec was very understanding as usual.

He also got mood mugs for them, which was cute but not really practical. What happens when the marker fades, they redraw it? lol

Honggi decided to cook korean style spaghetti for Mina, which really meant instant noodles lol. They decide to make romantic nicknames for each other and Honggi suggests calling Mina 'Ramji' inspired by the Korean word for squirrel hahaha. But they decide on Hongchan (Honggi) and Nuna (Mina).

Taec and GuiGui decide to make dinner and GuiGui struggles so Taec steps in and helps. He's actually a pretty decent cook. GuiGui then called him a scrooge. I actually had to google the word lol, but anyways, it's clear that GuiGui hasn't forgotten the shoe incident in episode 1.

Honggi decides to surprise Mina by decorating their bedroom camp-style, which totally impressed her.

Taec & GuiGui exchange wedding gifts. He got her the silver shoes from Episode 1. Way to go, Ok 'no longer scrooge' Taecyeon! GuiGui then called Taec "yeobo" which means husband, making Taec feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Emma got them matching pyjamas of her favorite cartoon character lol

Honggi and Mina go grocery shopping, and he surprises her with a squirrel. Cuuuute!

Thoughts:
I don't have much to say write, other than how much I'm loving the fact that the couples are getting more comfortable with each other, and their chemistry is getting so much more evident. This is especially true for Honggi & Mina. Their differences could prove to be a huge strength afterall.
