I've never watched We Got Married but I've heard a lot about the show and decided to check it out. I am so glad I did cos it is hilarious. It's one of those shoes that's scripted but doesn't blatantly appear so. The Global Edition features 2 couples: 2PM's Taecyeon & Taiwanese pop star Gui Gui and FT Island's HongKi and Japanese actress Mina Fujii. Mina speaks Korean so her interactions with HongKi are in Korean. Gui Gui on the other hand doesn't speak Korean, so she communicates with Taecyeon in English.
Scene 1
Taecyeon and Gui Gui (Shoe Cafe)
Taecyeon and Gui Gui start off by introducing themselves and talking about their ideal type. Gui Gui revealed that her favorite 2PM member is Nichkhun, although she likes Taecyeon's body and Nichkhun's face. It's sort of odd how the female celeb knows who she's been paired with but the male has no clue.
They meet in Shoes Cafe, and the language exchange starts. Taecyeon says she should call him "oppa" although there's just a one year age difference between them. Their meal is served by a nervous waiter, and then Taecyeon teaches Gui Gui how to say "let's enjoy the meal" in Korean - totally hilarious!
They start looking at shoes and Gui Gui tries to be modest by saying that one pair of shoes is enough and Taecyeon says "I'm not buying you shoes" LOL. She didn't realize that they're just window shopping.
She finally gets to try on the silver shoes she likes, which Taecyeon offers to help her put on. Cuuute!

Scene 2
Hang Ki & Mina (Bookstore)
On his way to meet Mina, HangKi asks his friend how he should greet her. His friend tells him to say "I'm sorry" in Japanese because she's going to be miserable with him. Hilarious! HangKi arrives at the cafe and waits for Mina. I find it funny how they make the man wait for the woman, hmmm. Anyways, they finally meet and it's akwarrrd.
He gets her a caramel macchiato which happens to be her favorite. He suggests that they play a game to get to know each other better. Each person randomly flips to a page and the person with a page with more people in it has to share something. Mina loses the first round and shares that she always keeps her promises. HangKi loses the next round and shares that he likes to be around a lot of people and is a very active person who's always in a good mood.
He also tells her that he wrote her a letter while he was waiting. How nice.
Scene 3
Taecyeon and Gui Gui (snow resort)
While up on the snow lift, Gui Gui asks in her cute broken English, "Can I jump together?" Taecyeon patiently replies "No jumping" haha.
They visit an igloo and she slips on her way out. Then they did cheesy things like writing each other's names (Chinese characters) in the snow. Gui Gui kept on falling and Taecyeon increasingly took on a babysitter role, at a point he said "I feel like a dad".
Thoughts
The 2 couples are really likeable, but Gui Gui is everything. She's really down-to-earth, goofy and comes across as someone who's fun to be around. She gives off the girl-next-door vibe and doesn't act like a celebrity, compared to the other 3. Although humble, they still give off the celebrity vibe, which Gui Gui doesn't. Who knows, maybe Taecyeon will get tired of playing babysitter. Can they get divorced on the show? I guess I'll find out.
