Get some aluminum foil at the dollar store, or wherever cheap aluminum foil is sold. Glue the aluminum foil to the wall behind the radiator. Glue it with the dull side against the wall, and the shiny side directly facing the radiator (i.e. inside the room), as this will reflect more heat into the room.
Also, make sure the aluminum foil isn’t touching any parts of the radiator itself, because this will conduct heat into the wall. Voila, there you have it!! $$$ saved.
